What is PhilanthroVision Galveston: Art + Culture Edition 2025?
PhilanthroVision Galveston is a local pitch competition powered by Vision Galveston, aimed at supporting innovative, scalable impact through knowledge, collaboration, capital, and exposure.
The PhilanthroVision Galveston 2025 Art + Culture Edition focuses on supporting artists, cultural programs, and organizations across all disciplines (visual, performing, literary, and multidisciplinary arts and culture programs) who are currently working in or planning to expand to Galveston.
Finalists will receive 1:1 coaching and attend educational workshops, in preparation to pitch their project live for funding and visibility, connecting creatives with donors, mentors, and supporters who can help amplify their work beyond the competition.
Since 2022, PhilanthroVision Galveston has awarded over $278,000 to local nonprofits with support from partners like The Ippolito Charitable Foundation, The Cynthia and George Mitchell Foundation, Mary Moody Northen Endowment, Humanity Squared, Wounded Warrior Project, CenterPoint Energy, Frost Bank and AMOCO Federal Credit Union.
Am I eligible?
Yes, if you’re:
· A Galveston-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on the arts, or
· An individual artist or cultural practitioner, or
· A creative without nonprofit status (you may still apply; Arts Downtown GTX will serve as your fiscal sponsor if selected).
