GRANT OPPORTUNITIES

Nominations are now open for the 2026 Art Spark Texas Artist of the Year Awards, which honor outstanding Texas artists with disabilities for their artistic excellence, leadership, and community impact. This year's awards recognize artists across five categories: the Haven Street-Allen Artist of the Year Award (an established artist whose work exemplifies creativity and inclusion); the Lynn Marie Johnson Media Arts Award (an artist working in film, video, photography, radio, social media, or related fields); the Creative Veteran Service Award (a Texas veteran artist whose work reflects resilience and leadership); the SPARK Award (an emerging artist with a disability); and the Gloria Bond Creative Aging Award (an artist age 65 or older). Each award includes an honorarium and an invitation to the Artist of the Year Celebration in Austin this September.More details are available here.
